This role will support various events and symposia as the face of expertise for the IT and Network Communication Services business to the DoD community through speaking engagements, publishing white papers and meeting with senior customer leaders.  
 
As a “Thought Leader” I help set the short and long term strategic road map for the IT business including keeping current with industry trends and standards, both from and business and technical standpoint and leading the way into the future.  
 

·   Working individually or as part of a team, determine customer requirements in complex and often ambiguous outsourced environments from client RFx documents and/or client interactions. Interacts effectively with team, pursuit leaders, internal governance and business leadership to advance sales efforts.

·   Developing solution components comprehending the ongoing delivery of services, services startup/transition, technology/process transformation and ongoing refresh which meet client's specifications, strategic direction, technology context, and business needs.

·   Ensures that any solution elements within their scope contribute to an innovative value proposition. I am creative and adapt to customer needs rather than providing boiler plate responses.

·   Communicates inter-tower dependencies, volume overlaps, staff sharing, and other opportunities for solution optimization. Assesses solution, delivery and client needs to identify integration points. Clearly defines risks through governance process and works to mitigate them.

·   Conducts and/or coordinates internal solution governance reviews

·   Service provider level knowledge of Architecture Concepts and Troubleshooting to include MPLS, BGPv4, L2/L3 VPNs, QoS, OSPF, GRE Tunnels, IPV6, and multicast.

·   Experience in developing IT planning documents that address enterprise-wide issues and strategies.

·   Ability to conduct infrastructure strategic and tactical analysis of network migration initiatives (i.e. network optimization, technology refresh, network system integration, etc.) to identify transition execution and operational impacts. Experience in network Life Cycle Management processes and documentation desired.

·   Ability to research and analyze various technologies and provide valued feedback to a multitude of stakeholders including executive level government representatives, other contractors, and program senior management.

·   Work closely with engineering and service delivery teams to define technical configuration and best practices to optimize the existing legacy network environment.

·   Experience in provisioning, installing, and maintaining network data circuits, assuring connectivity and compatibility requirements are satisfied, and monitoring the quality of data transition and IP services provided by vendors. 

·   Provide technical knowledge transfer in acting as a technical subject matter expert to operations support teams regarding how to best architect, deploy, and sustain.

·   Confidently articulate specific aspects of solution and persuasively communicate value to the client

·   Solid level of general IT industry, networking and data center technologies and US Public Sector business acumen; keeps current with trends and able to converse with internal stakeholders and client on RFP requirements, solution, issues and challenges.
